Individual therapy is perhaps the most common form of therapeutic assistance provided to the consumer. Individual therapy may be provided at Oklahoma Families First.
First office, the client’s home, or other confidential community resource. Beginning with a thorough assessment of the consumer’s psychosocial history and presenting problems, the therapist, with help from the consumer, develop a plan of care (treatment plan) that is agreed upon by all parties involved. This plan of care will include treatment goals and objectives for the consumer along with the therapeutic interventions that will be utilized by the therapist.
Oklahoma Families First recognizes that successful therapeutic care begins with the clinician’s knowledge and training of the most up to date clinical practices. Oklahoma Families First, Inc. is at the forefront of the development of “evidence –based practices” for services provided by its therapist and regularly promotes this through training and education.
